not looking right on linux
-
Hi
My blog looks normal on windows, but on my pc with liunx something is worng. i.e. the “border” with my pages of years, “globetrotter wannabees” and “nytt new” -they are shown on the leftside and with just the writing. My main pic is streched out outside the borders of the page and the avatar (which is supposed to be on the right side, is on the bottom)….Looks like it sometimes does when things dont “click” right and then you can just refresh and everything is fine. BUT nothing helps -arent this suppose to work on linux? What can I do? (I checked the error console and there is a huge list of errors on my blog i.e. unknown property “box-shadow”. declaration dropped)…The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s your browser that calls to the servers to have the data files delivered so the browser can display them. All browsers and versions of them render web pages differently. Have you tried any troubleshooting? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
If you browser is out of date go here to update it > http://browsehappy.com
On this site you can see how your blog renders in different browsers http://browsershots.org -
Hi,
I am also running a Linux machine and I have found there to be problems with my blog when rendered on it compared with a Windows machine. My solution was to download the Chromium web browser. It works perfectly on there.I think the problem comes from the Linux version of Firefox (which I hope you were using, otherwise my explanation was useless :S)
Hope I helped,

G’day to you . :)
I’m on an Acer Aspire PC running XP and Firefox 5.0 and I see a normal display. -
Thank you so much! I will sit down and try out this -linux lite is a bit different from other platforms (?). I will try chromium and I will try to download latest verison of firefox (its a bit tricky to do this on linux lite I understand). Thanks for helping me!
