Not receiving 2 Step verification code after website migration
-
I just migrated my wordpress website http://watsuptech.com which had 2 step verification activated on it to a new domain http://techstripped.com. Migration has been done successfully with all links working perfectly, but the only problem is when I try login in to wp-admin to make changes to the site. After I input my username and password, I am told to enter a verification code, which would be sent to my email i used to setup the account but I am not receiving the code. I have checked my gmail inbox and spam but still no code is in there. Meanwhile without it, I can’t login to the backend of my site. I need help urgently on how to fix this. I have even changed the email address in phpmyadmin but still not receiving any verification code.
Help me please. -
Hi @doxilla.
Both site appear to be self-hosted WordPress installations, hosted with Hostgator.
This particular forum focuses on helping with sites that are hosted at WordPress.com. For help with a self-hosted WordPress site (a site that is hosted on another hosting provider) please visit the WordPress.org forums or contact HostGator support.

Hi there,
You’ll need to contact the developer of whatever 2FA plugin you’re using directly for help with this – it is unlikely that the WordPress.org forums will be able to help either, as that forum only provides support for the core software, not for specific plugins made by other companies.
