Not receiving Admin Email Address change confirmation

I am trying to change the Admin Email Address, however once i’ve put in the new email and it states ‘There is a pending change of the admin email to (my email)’ I am no receiving the confirmation email to the new address?

Where exactly are you trying to change the email?

I am going to “Settings – General – Administration Email Address” and i’m trying to change it to a different email, but i’m not receiving the confirmation email for it.

It sounds like you’re trying to change the email on your self-hosted site. We won’t be able to help with that.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
