Not receiving any emails from WordPress

    I have a WordPress site under construction for a school project. I set up a free site. I am building content and not very successfully. I never received any activation email or ‘welcome kit’ email from WordPress when I went through the initial stages of signing up for a free site. My professor said that I would get such an welcome email. Just now requested that an ‘activiation email’ be sent to my email address again, and I haven’t received it. In fact I receive no emails from WordPress. What is the problem here?

    Hi there,

    I see you changed your email address a few hours ago, and it’s now verified.

    I checked your previous email address, the @msn.com one, and we have sent several emails to that address since you created this account a few days ago. If you didn’t receive those emails, the issue is on Microsoft’s end – our logs show all the emails were accepted by their email servers, so if they didn’t reach your inbox, the were being blocked or filtered after Microsoft’s servers had already accepted them.
