Not receiving comment emails.

I no longer receive emails from WordPress.com when people post comments. I tried turning the comment emails on and off but it didn’t help.

Hi, would you know when you were last receiving the email notifications for comments? It does seem a little weird that you’d be receiving the comment notifications but no emails – do the WordPress.com notifications appear promptly for you?

I think they’re showing up promptly, at least within a few minutes, but I’ll have to check.
It seems like I’m not receiving any emails from wordpress.com now. I tried changing my email for my blog which normally would trigger an email and I didn’t get one.

No. If I sign up for post emails like a reader, I get an email saying I did that. Otherwise I haven’t gotten any emails from wordpress.com in a while. Which is weird because Jetpack is connected and it used to work fine.

Got it. While Jetpack can give you notifications in our notifications bar, the comment emails would still come from your WordPress instance itself via your own web server.
I’d recommend checking the last time you received one to get an idea for when it last worked, then work with your host to see what’s changed since then. If you have Jetpack Activity log, that could help. You may also ask your host to check for any “stuck” outbound mail.
