Not receiving confirmation email to begin blogging

    Hey there,

    I haven’t received my confirmation email. I have looked at your Gmail trouble shoot page but nothing on there has helped.

    Are you saying you haven’t received the confirmation email for a new account?

    I checked the emailsophieh WordPress.com account, and records show it was created in July and it looks like it has a few separate blogs associated with it and the account looks confirmed to me. Were you having trouble with a separate account other than emailsophieh?

    Same thing goes for the hrusthoven account, it appears it was created in 2014.

    If you’re still having trouble, please confirm exactly which WordPress.com account you are trying to blog with and the exact error message you’re seeing and where you’re seeing it (please include the URL if you can).

    Sometimes I think new bloggers see the front page error message and get sidetracked re: activation, confirmation, verification.

    It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.

    There is nothing wrong with your site. By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

    @emailsophieh, I reviewed your account again and I think it needs to be fix on our side. I will look into that and reply back here when I have more information.

    @hrusthoven, your email address looks malformed to me. Can you check to make sure it’s correct at https://wordpress.com/me/account ?

    @miriamchesbro, I just checked your account and it looks confirmed to me. Can you please try blogging again and let me know if you’re still having trouble? In your case, clearing your browser cache and then logging in again may help:

    @timethief, I don’t think a “Nothing Found” message is what’s happening for every one of these cases. I’m working to try to log all the ones that are stuck though!

    Hey tried activating 3 times and nothing seems to work. The account name is @emporiumeve. Please could you resend activation email.

    @emporiumeve, can you please verify your email address? I checked records and the message getting returned is: “554 delivery error: This user doesn’t have a yahoo.com account”

    I’d like to help you get this sorted, and I’m interested to know whether or not the email is right first. If it is, then I can try sending you a test message manually. If it isn’t, I’d like to know if the link to “change the email address on your account” that you see in your dashboard works to change the email or not. I think it may need to be changed manually but I also don’t think there’s anything I can do to make that message better because if there’s a typo in the email address, that’s something we can’t detect or solve from our side. Let me know if the email is right or not and we can go from there!

    Hi, I’m having the same problem. I’m at commonandprofound.wordpress.com … I received a confirmation email in august but just tried to use it and it say it’s invalid. It says another confirmation email has been sent but I haven’t received anything. Thanks!

    @meghanbackwards, I checked your account and it looks confirmed now. Perhaps you just needed to wait a few minutes for the new email to arrive. I think you are all set but please reply back here if you are still having trouble.

    @iknowcraig, I asked a developer for help and we have made an update to your account. Can you try it again now? Can you please also tell me what you can remember about your original sign up? Was it done by the mobile app by chance? Do you remember if you received an email about account activation at that time?
