Not receiving email copy of post

I posted a post and am not receiving the post via email to my email address to verify that it is in fact posted. Where to I select ‘get email of posts’ or whatever

Hi there,
To get notifications of your own posts first you need to follow your own site. Then go to the Reader and click on Manage top left. Look for your site in the list and click on it to expand the subscription options for that site:

Hello, I did as you suggested. I am already following my blog, emails are instant for new posts ON, emails for comments ON, and I have received 1 comment that I moderated, however, I still did not get a copy of the post I posted yesterday.
I am working on one for today and will test run the email.
Again thank you for addressing my question.

It looks like you only enabled email notifications after this thread was created, so after you published the last post as well, correct?
I can confirm that you are now subscribed, so you should receive notifications of the next post you publish. Please let me know if that doesn’t happen.

Again I say thank you, I really am amazed in your rapid knowledgeable response.
There seems to be several layers, the new WORDPRESS on my doc, the sort of mini writer is new to me. I am unfamiliar with it as well as baffled by the older version here: https://joejuliano.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

There has been a lot of changes recently, and the editor at My Site ->Posts will be undergoing some more changes soon.
I see you’ve had an account with us for some time, but you might want to look at our tutorial page again if you want to get up to speed with the new My Sites dashboard and editor.
Of course you can still use the original WP-Admin editor as well, if you prefer. If you have any questions about a specific option or feature, please let me know :)

Hi, I am having this problem too, my emails have not gone out to Followers (myself included) the past three days (and they usually go out within seconds of my posting).

I inadvertently inserted my admin url to my site in the above comments,
I need to delete that from this thread, I don’t think its wise to leave that there, please advise, or moderator, delete the 8:01am thread please!!!! -

@joejuliano we do not delete threads or posts unless they contain sensitive information, and your dashboard URL is not – anyone who knows your site address also knows your dashboard URL if they know how WordPress works.
That URL will not work for anyone except you and other users you added to your site, so there is no risk having it appear in the forums.

Can you please create a new thread and tag it with “modlook”, then we can help you there. If you post into someone else’s thread we don’t have access to any of your account info we need to investigate it.
