Not receiving email correspondence from WordPress

For the last week, 90% of my emails from WordPress such as likes, comments, new subscribers and most of all posts from blogs I’m subscribed to, I have not received in my email inbox at (email visible only to moderators and staff). For example, I am only receiving 2 out of every 10 blog post I have subscribed to via email, and 1 out of 10 comments. I checked my reader and the posts are there and it says “receive email instantly”. I have also checked my “junk” mail on yahoo and some of the likes and comments are there but no posts. It is very annoying and strange. Is it something to do with yahoo or wordpress? Please let me know . Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m happy to look into this for you. To help me investigate, can you let me know an example of a post that you did receive through email and one that you did not but believe you should have?

I believe I fixed it. I had emailed other WP bloggers who have said they too have sometimes had the problem. I went to settings and found a button selected which I never selected but someone was checked. The button said do not receive any emails from WP blogs. I deselected it and now I’m back to normal.
I’ve noticed this happening before with other random settings in my dashboard. Things I never selected somehow get selected and change settings without my knowledge. Probably some weird bug.

That was my first thought (the “Do Not Receive Emails” option), but when I checked, it looks like you had already unchecked the box. Please let me know if this option gets selected again randomly or if you experience any additional trouble!
