Not receiving Email Forwards

  I am not receiving email that was set up in the domains email forwarding…
  There is also no way to effectively trouble shoot this. Where are these emails dumped? Can we not set up email hosting through wordpress if we want to to be able to access these emails directly? I have had this address out for weeks for our store, and am just now realizing I have not received an email back to that address, once. I need to retrieve these emails! HELP!

  Please provide specific information. Exactly which email service are your referring to please?

  I’m referring to the email forwarding wordpress offers through the custom domain you set up through them. I’ve created several email addresses and have them forwarding to a Gmail address.

  The issue is not that I can not send email or add it as a sending email in Gmail, it is that I’m not receiving the forwarded emails at all TO my Gmail account, and there is no other way to access these emails.

  Hi Andriana,

  In situations where email is not forwarding on to your external email account, the answer is usually to remove it and re-add the forwarding account. We strongly recommend that you test the forwarder to make sure that it is working once it is set up.

  In regards to your other question, we do not offer email services and we don’t have any way to review any messages which may have come in. There are a variety of services which you may want to review that offer full email service for your domain (a list can be found here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/add-email/ ), but we sadly do not provide anything directly at this time.
