Not Receiving Email Notification from Forms
-
Hi!
I have a couple of forms on my free wordpress site. One is the default contact form that I have tweaked a bit and one is a new one that I’m still perfecting. However after a few tests today I realised that I am not receiving any email notifications when the forms are submitted. I am using a Gmail address – I have checked my spam folder and the other mail tabs but no notifications.
I received an email from a submitted contact form once previously (on the 10th of November), but I do not know if anything has been submitted since then. It is not working as I test it today.
I have tried to search up a fix for this issue but most advice recommends installing plugins and as I am running the free version of wordpress I cannot install plugins.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I managed to find somewhere that Gmail supports full stops in email addresses but WordPress does not and so edited the form to: email so that it no longer had full stops, and it appears to be working now.
Is this the correct fix? Will not having typed in the full stops of my to: email cause problems anywhere else?
Also, is it possible to find out whether my contact form was used between the 10th of November and today? I didn’t receive any emails in that timeframe but it could very well have not been working.

That’s good to know! You should be able to see other submissions here:
