Not receiving notifications

I’ve been trying to get my wordpress website set up, but neither the ‘contact me’ or ‘request an appointment’ sections on my page get sent to my email. Where do I correct this, and what do I need to do to find out when someone has contacted me?

From our support page:
When a user submits your contact form, it will be emailed to the author of the post/page (to the email address that they have on file for their WordPress.com account), and the subject line will be the title of your post. If you wish, you can change both the recipient and the email subject of your emails by clicking the “Settings” tab. Separate recipient emails with a comma to send to multiple recipients.
After you click the select the contact form from the dropdown, there is an option for a settings tab where you can change the email that is connected to the contact form.
