Not receiving notifications of comment responses

The notification icon on my dashboard and admin bar have stopped working. After repeated clearings, the button continues to show new comments/responses, but no links to other blogs are provided.
And, since about 5 p.m. CDT, several people have responded to my comments on their blogs, but I’ve received no notification.
I’ve cleared cache, cookies, etc. I’m running updated Firefox with no add-ons. I’m having the same problem with IE.

Can you please elaborate on this? I just checked my notifications and found that it was working. When I click on a comment notification, it shows me my original post/comment and what the commenter wrote.
As for the link to other blogs, you shouldn’t have a link to other blogs from my understanding. Can you please provide me a screenshot of this? Upload it to your Media > Library page and I’d be more than happy to take a look!
