Not receiving notifications of comments.

I seem unable to get notifications of comments to my posts since I changed my email address from the one that I originally registered with. I am an “Author” on this blog so I do not have access to Users -> Personal Settings that is mentioned in the help section. The administrator of the blog has looked there and only sees my new email address, not the old one. It does seem somewhat strange that he would have to be involved in changing where I receive notifications about comments. He and another user are getting notifications.
We have some hours into this, I hope you can point me in the right direction.

To edit your personal settings, you can hover your mouse over your name on the far right side of the gray admin bar when you are logged in to WordPress.com and select the Edit Profile page. However, you probably don’t need to do that if the email address shows up correctly on the users page where you are listed as an author.
Note that comment notifications are sent to the post author. Can you point me to an example of a recent comment that you expected to receive but didn’t?

I did not receive notification of any of the comments to these posts or actually any since I changed my email address.
I did receive notification of your response in this forum though.

I don’t see anything that would prevent delivery of the emails.
Have you checked your spam folder?

I am using my verizon email account. I checked my email client junk folder and went online to their webmail thing. Nothing caught up in either one.

Do you have the email address set as desired in the Settings section of your blog’s Dashboard?

I can’t actually access that Setting as an “Author”, but I asked the administrator to check. He said that it has the new correct email address. I don’t know how it got changed since I can’t get there, but it was.

Since you aren’t an administrator, I can’t release specific info, but if you let me know what the email address should be, I can confirm if it is or not.

I think it is fixed. Yesterday afternoon I decided to change the email again. This time to something other than a Verizon account. I made it a gmail address.
Since no one had cooperated by commenting on anything of mine since then, I just posted a comment when I was not logged in to WordPress. I just received a notification email.
