Not receiving recoivery email or SMS.

  Hi Sir,

  I am not receiving any recovery SMS or eMail. I have check my account & the email & phone no is UpToDate.

  My username: ashis

  Were you having trouble receiving two step authentication SMS codes for the ashis account you are currently logged in to?

  Hi Gemmacevans,

  I was having trouble generating a two step authentication code & hence I tried to get a OTP through SMS. But, the SMS never came to my number.

  I had to login using a backup code. My number & email are updated correctly.

  Please help fix the delivery of SMS & mail to my Phone & email respectively.

  Hi Ashis,

  It appears the SMS are being blocked — we are currently looking into why that is happening. Which phone carrier do you use?

  If you are still not receiving the SMS please ensure you have a printed copy of your backup codes — they can be used to access your account if SMS does not arrive. The other option is to consider using the Authenticator app, which does not reply on SMS:

  Enable Two-Step Authentication

  Hi Gemmacevans,

  I have saved the backup code, updated the authenticator app & recovery email id.

  I am from India & I am using ‘Airtel’ network service provider. It is one of the largest network in India. If the service provider is blocking the SMS then you will have to sort this out with them. I can guaranty that a lot of your customer would be in this network & all will be in trouble while recovering there account.

  I guess your SMS service is listed as spam & hence people who are register under ‘DND’ (Do Not Disturb) service. For them your SMS is getting blocked.

  Either way, you will have to fix it.
