Not receiving SMS authentication code

I can’t log in to WordPress. (Here I had to create another account after trying for some weeks; which I’m using to post this question.) I remember the password, have access to email but, I don’t have Google authenticator now. So I can’t log in because I have 2-step authentication enabled. I don’t have backup codes, but I still have my phone number. But the problem is, I’m not receiving the SMS. (I have already tried the recovery process, but it keeps asking for codes.) My account is about 5 years old so I don’t have account confirmation e mail either.

Can you tell me the username of the account you’re trying to regain access to? I’ll send you an email to begin the recovery process with a human (me) instead of the system. :)

Username is umstek.
(email visible only to moderators and staff) is the e-mail I used to log in.
The blog is umstek.wordpress.com.

Same issue for me. The last successful SMS was 2/15/15. All the ones attempted after that have failed. The affected account is “appearances.”

Hi… I have the same issue and don’t have access to the SMS code bc I no longer have that number. I use thee mail to reset the password but when I do I get that same message about the SMS. How can I get in? I set up a new account just to be able to talk to someone. I sent 2 emails to support over the last week and have not heard anything.

I spoke too soon… I got the SMS message again… it logged in and then changed to the SMS message.
What do I do? I l know my password but I don’t have SMS… anyway to reset the account so that I can get in?

@intranetbuilders – Our two step codes are time sensitive. Waiting too long before using the code I sent you will make it no longer work. I’ll send you a new code via email. Please make sure you use it within 24 hours.
@breatheeir – Are you getting your SMS codes, or not? It sounds like you’re getting some sort of message after inputting your SMS code. What is this message?

Hi…thank you for helping. I do not get the SMS messages, I sign in and then I get the next screen which says its sending me the code via SMS… every time! Even the email messages where it asks me to change the password and then the SMS message comes up again.
I will do whatever I need to get in, thank you for the help.

If it’s to this account it’s not correct. I made this one today so I could talk to someone in the forum. I used an old email to sign in that I don’t have access to. I can provide you with info if needed to enable my account.
