not receiving the confirmation email

  Hello, I am trying to publish my first post but I can’t because I have not received the confirmation email yet. I have checked to make sure that the email is correct and it is right. If someone could help me that’d be great.

  Sometimes the email can end up in your spam folder. Have you looked there?

  It might help to add WordPress.com to your contact list. Another thing to keep in mind is that many universities and employers will prevent emails coming through from other businesses. If this applies to you, then you may need to get in touch with someone in IT.
