Not receiving the ICANN email

I need to receive the confirmation email from the ICANN to be able to edit the DNS records of my domain guiaboombeach.com (bought via wordpress.com) but the email is not arriving into my inbox ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). I need that in order to update the DNS settings for my domain. How can I make this work?

Please be patient while waiting for Staff help. Know that there is a backlog and that Staff answer all the threads tagged for their attention in datestamp order. When they answer all threads tagged for their help prior to you tagging this one they will respond to you here.

Hello – I am also in the ICANN ’email sent but I never get an email’ issue. The email on file is correct, and when I login to WP it goes to the originally created site that doesn’t have any updated (post-hostgator sign up) content. I guess my second question is how to I just set it to one site, the one hosted by hostgator so I can do Plugins etc. Excuse the fact that this may sound incredibly newbie-ish.

Hi @mranderson108, actually the original poster had an incorrect email, but yours looks fine. You should be getting the email.
You might try searching all of your mail for your domain name to find it. In gmail, for example, you can use “in:all” along with your search terms to search all boxes.
About pointing it to Hostgator, it looks like you’ve already got that sorted out. Let us know if you need more help!
