not receiving verification text in 2 step verification

    I have just created this blog so I could get in the forum and ask a question!!!!!
    I have a blog (www.savinghistory.wordpress.com) that I have had for a while. I tried to log in and it asked for the authentication code. In the google app wordpress is no longer listed. Dropbox is there, google is there but not wordpress. So I tap send code via text. I DO NOT receive a text. I tap password reset, get a text with that code, reset my password and again am asked for the verification code, which I cannot get because wordpress is not in the app and I am not getting the text. I check with ATT (where I have my phone) and they checked the back end and see no reason why that text is not going through. I do not have the original verification email link so cannot authenticate ownership that way, nor have I made any upgrades via paypal. Does anyone know where I could go for help.
