Not Receiving Word Press Account Verification Email

  (I’m asking this via my account for my flat-mate as they’re unable to access their own account) – When I sign in, I can put my email address & password, all good, but when my mate tries to sign in to their account (same house, various PCs, we’ve cleared cookies)- they can only fill in their email address, not the password (which they do have!) – at that point a message appears ”We just emailed a link to (email visible only to moderators and staff) Please check your inbox and click the link to log in’ – But no email arrives, [not in spam] – despite trying many times? Can’t submit the ‘Account Recovery’ form as it requires ‘transaction ID’ ect which they don’t have -(I don’t think I have 1 for my account either, so hope it doesn’t happen to mine!) – It’s a loop of impossibly..
