Not receiving Zoho emails. Possibly MX issue?

    Hi

    I’ve just set up my WordPress domain with Zoho and it is sending emails fine. It’s not receiving though.

    Below is what I’ve loaded up on my WP MX page..my email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    noel.inboundtech.co then mx.zoho.com. with priority 10

    noel.inboundtech.co then mx2.zoho.com. with priority 20

    Anything obviously wrong here? Any ideas would be great:)

    Hi there,

    For Zoho mail to work correctly, you’ll need to set up the three Zoho records mentioned in our guide to Add Email through Zoho Mail.

    I see you removed the two MX records for Zoho and set up our email forwarding service, but if you’d like I can help you set up the Zoho mail records again. When you add the two MX records, you can leave the first box blank (instead of entering noel.inboundtech.co ) to get that working.

    Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

    I didnt knowingly remove my two MX records, I’ve just gone back and these records have disappeared.

    I have just tried to re enter the first line as you and the instructions suggested, leaving the first field blank and putting in mx.zohomail.com into the second field.

    BTW I have already tried it this way leaving it blank before and no joy.

    Now when I hit add it doest accept this entry and comes up with a notice saying …..This record cannot be added, as it conflicts with an existing WordPress.com record.

    I’m usually fairly good at this stuff. I have redone this process a few times and followed the instructions to the letter, that seem fairly straight forward.

    Could you maybe try to enter this mx info and see what happens?

    Hi there,

    The error message you’re getting about the new record conflicting with an existing WordPress.com record is because you currently have Email Forwarding set up. To set up your Zoho email records, you’ll need to remove the email forwarding you have set up on the Email tab in the domain manager.

    I can do that for you, but I wanted to check first because it will stop that email forward from working. Is that ok?

    Ok! I added the two Zoho MX records you need. It can sometimes take up to 72 hours for changes like this to take effect, so if your email doesn’t start working right away please give it a little time. If it still isn’t working after a few days, please let me know!
