  I tried logging into WordPress and my email address was not recognized — I had logged in with the same address earlier in the week. I can’t do critical maintenance on my site until I get access. Any ideas? I could only get into the forum by opening a new account with a different email.

  Try logging in to your site with username and password rather than with an email address. Make sure you are fully logged out of this new account first though.
