Not renewing Premium Plan

  Currently I am on the Premium Plan, using The Portfolio Theme by The Theme Foundry. Most likely I will not renew the Plan and just revert to a ‘free’ set up, with adverts, using a free theme. My visitor rate is very low as I don’t do other social media. My site is purely for self-expression.

  What happens to my The Portfolio Theme, which I’ve paid for, if I choose to use a free theme? I’m still considering this option, hence this question.

  I may also just use the Portfolio Theme with its home page Galleries only, and no daily blog, and change the galleries’ subjects on a bi- or tri-monthly basis and also change how many galleries appear on the home page, with perhaps a changing slideshow roller at the top of the page.

  If I do continue to use the Portfolio Theme as described in the previous paragraph, will I be able to place an imaged clickable link to my pixels.com site in the footer on the home page?
