Not Saving

When I write a new post and i save it as a draft it doesnt save properly. It deletes part of the post that I’ve written when I re-save the draft or even when I publish it. Am I doing something wrong or is it just not working properly???

It’s come up before and I don’t remember what the solution was. What browser, browser version and editor are you using? I have a feeling that you’re probably using the Rich Text editor. (if you see two tabs labeled ‘Code’ and ‘Visual’, then you are) You can switch to the other editor at Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile and uncheck the box near the top.
Try the other editor and drop support a feedback and see if Mark can remember what the solution to this matter is.

The temporary workaround is to highlight everything once you’re written it, Copy it, then, while it is still highlighted, click Publish. It should post without loss that way and if not, you’ve got the whole thing (minus categories and title) on your clipboard to paste again.

Awesome! Thank you Raincoaster for that idea, i’ll use that for now. And Im going to try changes that setting drmike, thanks. Ill come back and let you know if it fixes the problem. (By the way; it seems to work if I “Save and continue Editing”, just not when I publish or save a draft.- Just for further problems with others :))
