Not Saving

  I’m working on the free wordpress bundle. When i go in to edit both pages, and posts and then hit the ‘save draft’ button all my changes disappear, and there is a ‘restore’ option that pops up at the top of the page. When i restore all of my changes are back. I am working on in the ‘text editor’ side in the back end. It was doing fine early in the same work session but with in a short time frame of working it started this.

  Please provide this specific info:
  (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
  (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

  A) Im using a Desktop Computer with windows 7

  Hi there –

  The post and page editor work with an auto save feature. As you work, the text and changes are noted every few seconds and saved.

  This is indicated on the left of your screen. Just above the Preview and Publish buttons, there’s a small blue ‘save’ that will change to a green ‘saving’ as you work. You do not need to click on anything.

  Please let me know if your post drafts are saved automatically.

  If not, please create a screen shot and upload it to your media library. Then I can take a closer look at what you’re seeing.

  Hi there –

  Thanks for the screen shots. I was referring to the new editor which is why you are wondering what the heck I’m talking about :)

  You’ve been working in the classic, WP-Admin dashboard.

  Please read over this guide and create a new post to see if your issue persists from the new editor.
