When attempting to reach my website, I receive a ‘Not Secure’ message. My domain (redroomhouseconcerts.com) is administered by GoDaddy and my (free) website is hosted by WordPress. I have added an https record to my domain, but the problem remains.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

You need to contact GoDaddy for help in applying an SSL certificate to your hosting for this site. It’s not something that you manage on your domain settings – it’s a separate certificate.

    I hope that clarifies things!
