Not secured on Chrome
-
Hi, I didn’t come back to my blog for years (last one was in 2016). When opening the page, I could see Chrome shows it as a not secured URL. Read a bit more and thought it’s probably because I have a lot of http:// hyperlinks in my posts. Exported and imported a few times and this didn’t fix it (was thinking that WordPress.com would have a system and change this automatically).
Now, with the latest import (in the process of emptying the blog for the 3rd time), it didn’t come back with contents (as I manually changed all http:// to https:// in the XML sitemap file before importing.
So my question is what caused my blog not secured?
Thank you.

I also tried exporting the contents from escribitionist (main) to pseudopearl (backup) account and as of now the backup page doesn’t show as not secure.
https://pseudopearl.wordpress.com/
The same XML file was re-imported to the main account and then the page is not secure.

Me again, I think I found the problem. It’s the ‘print friendly’ button in the sharing icon option.
I removed the button from my page and the URL is now secure.

Glad you got this sorted :) If this happens again or you have any further questions, be sure to ask :)
