not seeing changes. uploading changes to my site from my locally hosted wordpress

  I made modifications to my locally hosted wordpress and uploaded them. i recieved email notifications that my uploads were successful, but there were no changes in my wordpress.org hosted site.

  Can you check into this or give me some insight into the situation? Thank you. Robert
