Not seeing my edits to my page

    Hello. So, I cannot see the edits and changes I made to the page when i go to view them. But when I am in editor mode, i see all my changes and I have already published it. So I am confused on the fact that none of my changes are showing. I already cleared my cache and did a hard reset of my browser so something else is going on.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hello @noahgreene2011

    1. Check Page Visibility: Make sure the edited page is not set as a draft or private by mistake. It should be Published and Public.
    2. View the Correct Page: Sometimes, you’re editing one version (e.g. homepage template) and viewing another. Double-check that the link you’re viewing matches the one you edited.
    3. Theme/Page Caching: Even without Jetpack, some WordPress.com themes cache pages. Try editing a small part (like adding “Test” in a paragraph), publish, and refresh in incognito mode.
    4. Clear WordPress.com Cache: Go to Site > Settings > General > Site Tools
      Click “Clear site cache” if available.
    5. Custom Homepage? Go to Appearance > Editor > Templates and ensure the correct template is applied to the homepage.

    Hi @noahgreene2011, if you still need help, can you share which page is affected? We’d be happy to take a look.

    @mrboldtech, some of those suggestions won’t apply to free sites (they won’t have hosting tools to clear cache, for example.) On a free site with an FSE theme, this is most likely a template issue.
