not seeing the WYSWYG editor
-
Hi all,
I tried posting an article but the WYSWYG editor doesn’t seem to be working atm. I tried in all the three browsers, mozilla, Google Chrome as well as IE. Anybody knows what is wrong? I need the WYSWYG editor .The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go to your Profile and make sure you’ve selected the Visual Editor. I think that sometimes the tickbox resets itself (and it’s written in misleading, backwards terms).

raincoaster, thank you for taking the time.
I went to the profile but couldn’t find any link for Visual Editor. You mean
https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/profile.php
I even tried
https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
but no love :(

Go to users > your profile in your dashboard and at the very top will be a checkbox with “Disable the visual editor when writing” after it. Make sure that that is NOT selected and then click “update profile.”

thanks thesacredpath, I think it was a mixture of having the latest 3.5 as well as not having flash installed on the windoze box from which I was trying to access. I saw a similar thing in FF 3.0 which also didn’t flash installed. The moment I installed flash atleast on 3.0 the issue was gone.

yup it is a flash issue it seems. I just updated ff 3.0 to ff 3.5 on this windoze box and was able to get the GUI editor.
