  Hi,

  If your site is set to display the latest posts on the homepage, this is known as the blog page. The default blog page doesn’t have an editor associated with it. The site http://talkupdotblog.wordpress.com/ has the Karuna theme activated and no published posts, which is one reason why the homepage presently looks rather stark. Instructions for setting up the front page to resemble that of the Karuna demo may be found in the Karuna theme guide.
