Not-so-subtle ad placement

  Ok, I get that I should just buy a no ads package, but really, can we not just insert a block of ad sense ads in the middle of the page? Could you just pop it in a column, or based on theme being used at least exercise some taste in where on the page they wind up?

  I’m so sorry but the last time a member suggested thatey wished to have input into ad placement on their blog the answer form Staff was that they couldn’t. :(

  Unsurprising, but still not a happy-making thought. I mean, really, in a visual medium shouldn’t our provider/host be thinking about how ad placements affect the presentation?

  They may indeed be doing so, but their angle is maximizing ad clicks, not presenting blog content for the best.
