I purchased a custom URL from WordPress and was hoping it would automatically be handled by WordPress once I paid for the account, but it does not seem to be ‘live’ yet.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! I don’t see any domain purchase on your account. Can you tell me the domain you attempted to purchase?
-
As it turns out, I apparently haven’t purchased the domain, despite being given the option to do so in the sign-up process. I’ve since tried to purchase the available domain through Chrome, Explorer, and now trying through Firefox, but the ‘purchase’ button just disappears and nothing is processed after I try. So this is an entirely different problem.

Can you try clearing your cache and cookies:
And make sure that you have third party cookies enabled:
And just to be sure, you’re trying to register this domain here:
-
“Congratulations! You registered the domain mylifeinvanadiel.com for your blog, mylifeinvanadiel. We are setting up your domain, and it should start working in a few minutes.”
That did it. Thank you so much, kind person. It’s so vexing when technology doesn’t work the way you expect it to. This solved it and I’m looking forward to updating the website.
