Not sure how to map the MX and CName records in wordpress

    Hello,

    Recently I have moved my website to wordpress and now it is working fine. I also had email with my domain name. As the wordpress guide says to update the MX and CName in the DNS editor, I have got the records from my vendor. But the format in which he has provided does not match what is said in wordpress. Kindly request your help in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance.

    hi – i also need help with this. i found this link: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/ but am not sure if i have done the CNAMEs right (MX seems ok when I validate):

    CNAME imap imap.abchk.net.
    CNAME mail pop3.abchk.net.
    CNAME pop3 pop3.abchk.net.
    CNAME smtp smtp.abchk.net
    CNAME webmail webmail.abchk.net.
    TXT v=spf1 a mx ip4:203.169.176.218 ~all
