not sure if my owned domain still needs mapping or tranferring

    please help me…I already own beautyincherylsworld.com and it was parked at godaddy.com but from their website I connected it beautyincherylsword.wordpress.com. I am now seeing on wordpress that I can transfer my owned domain to wordpress and I thought that is actually what I already have done but it’s saying that’s $13/monthly so I am very confused because godaddy didn’t ask for any money when I pointed it to my wordpress page….Confused as I can be. do I still need domain mapping or tranferring my domain? (Remember I already pointed it from godaddy to wordpress) Please help.

    Hi,

    Yes, it can be a little confusing!

    To transfer a domain or to map it to a WordPress.com site requires you to have an upgraded WordPress plan – hence the extra fee.
