Not sure if site address is configured correctly as it is difficult to locate it via the web address when I search for it ….so wonder if I missed something in the setup process. This is the address….https://simonherfetauthor.wordpress.com

If I have understood it correctly, you are trying to search the website on Google.
Here is a quick list of things to check:
– Check if your privacy settings are set to public
( go to My Site → Settings and look for Privacy on the General tab. )– Check if the robots.txt file is properly configured. It must not Disallow public pages. ( <your-blog-url>/robots.txt )
– Check if site visibility is set to
Allow search engines to index this site
