  I tried to set up a new and separate blog and website by logging into my existing WordPress profile and creating a new blog. It looks like somehow my new blog / website are linked to my existing profile – I don’t want this. Can anyone help me to separate them, or tell me if I need to delete and start again…thanks.

  If you’d like a site under your account to be registered under a different account, first create a new WordPress.com account, and then you can transfer the site in question to the new account by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
