I have an existing Website and my Company wishes to Keep ist address (www.biker-register.de). we want to update the Website and the main question is, if we Transfer the Domain completely to WordPress, will the Webpage still be functional, while we are updating it at the Background.
it is important that our visitors still have Access to the Webpage? -

Do I understand correctly that you’re going to create a new site on WordPress.com and would like to keep your existing site functional while you work on the new one?
If that’s correct, I’d suggest waiting until your site is ready and only transferring your domain then. While you work on your site you can use the free subdomain. -

how do i go about using a free subdomain. can you please help me step by step.
i have singned in to wordpress and i wish to have the possibility of using the Dashboard to recreate the Website. I have used the wordpress and Dashboard on another Website, but the Administration of this Website was just handed over to me, i never created it from scratch. -

To create a free address, go to https://wordpress.com/start/ and follow the steps. On the fourth step simply select the free address.
