Not sure where to begin.?

I am taking over the social media, the person who was in charge no long works here and I’m not sure if the website is with you or GoDaddy but i know we pay them. But you’re plans are cheaper. Can i transfer to just WordPress and drop go daddy? if so how do i go about it?

It is definitely possible to migrate your entire site as-is, and to do that you will want to upgrade your site to the Pro Plan first. Once you do that, you can follow our guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-an-entire-wordpress-site/
The short version of the steps are to:
- Upgrade to the Pro Plan
- On your GoDaddy site, install the Jetpack plugin. You can download that here
- Go to the import tab on your WordPress.com site, and follow the steps on your screen
