Not sure where to start!

  Hello all,

  I’m trying to create a very simple portfolio website.

  Homepage would have a series of full-width images. Once you click on them, you’re then redirected in the project page, where there will be another series of full-width images + 1 section with details.

  Other than this, a “resume” page (with a full-width header image and copy) and a “contact page” (again full-width header image plus a contact form).

  That’s it! To do so, I am starting from “intergalactic 2” Theme, which appears to be similar looking to what I’m looking to achieve (https://wordpress.com/theme/intergalactic-2/support/adriaticodesign.wordpress.com)

  The problem is I have no idea where to start and also not sure why it’s referring to the website as a “blog”, since it’s gonna be more like a “brochure” site. Is it “blog” just the way WP refers to sites that has no e-commerce on them?

  Any tips on how to get started to custumize my website would be great, starting from any guides that I might be missing.
