Not sure which account is linked to site

hi. I created my site on WordPress but I have numbers instead of the example/wordpress.com. this isn’t really the problem now I have finished the website I want to connect it to my domain name Gallowaycanyoning.com. but when I try to link it it shows me a different site saying coming soon. I can see this site in the switch site toggle but it has an error sign next to it and won’t allow me to do much else with it. I am still able to edit ect the website if I go directly to it but not if I log in to my account. I think possibly I have made a few accounts by mistake. Many thanks mike

Instead your host (Google Domains Hosting) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform — sometimes called “WordPress.org” — which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com.
In cases like this, it is your hosting provider that typically controls how our domain is connected, so the good news is that help is available through Google Domains and they should be able to sort this out for you and get the domain connected to the correct site under your account with them.
