Not what galleries would be suitable for my site & user ease.

    Hi there,

I’m soon to launch a photo related website, although i’m not sure which gallery system to use, I’m not a coder, I merely design my pages in PSD and pass them onto my coder friend, but I like to do a bit of research before hand.

On my index, I plan to have a simple, fade in- fade out slideshow of images in the center. These won’t be clickable :

This is where I’m stuck a little. The examples page, will be LIKE the index, but will have captions (which let users move onto their respective pages, e.g. Face Retouching, Restoration etc) and headings. There will only be a few examples of each service, users can then move onto the main service pages to see the full galleries for each service.

Here’s one I quite like, although I hope it’s customizeable as the preview images are too small, I don’t like the grey border, and the red buttons need to be changed. But it’s a good find :

The main pages of images will be simple, with left or right buttons I would assume with a grid of thumbs, that will probably be NEXTGEN.

Let me know if you know of something cool that i’ve not seen yet.

    Simon
