Not what I thought it'd look like

Hi,
I played around with a wordpress.com page then after some thought I found it in my tiny budget to pay the money for a domain to make it all mine! Now that I’ve done that, I’m not happy with the layout when I log in. I’ve tried changing things and making things the way I want them but that didn’t work. I’m currently using the Free Premium Upgrade which when I’m in “Customize” my page looks EXACTLY how I envisioned it but when a random person logs in it looks NOTHING like that! Why is this??

Unless you tell us what changes you have attempted to make we cannot possibly give you a solution.

Well I’d like all of my widgets on the side of the page and they’re appearing on the bottom instead, I’ve tried to minimize the length of the sentences because they’re taking up the entire screen which I don’t want.

Hi Cassandra,
The theme you’re using is responsive, meaning it will look differently on different screen sizes. I think that’s why your theme looks exactly how you want it to be on your desktop but looks differently on another device (mobile, tablet, old laptop with a low screen resolution?).
