Notepad for dashboard to jot down ideas?

  I’m very new to blogging and using wordpress, so someone please tell me if this idea is irrelevant because something similar already exists. Or maybe you think it’s lame and that’s fine with me.

  I think it would be handy to have a space on the dashboard to make brief notes on future blog post topics. This wouldn’t be an entire draft, more like a spot to just jot down phrases as a reminder. That way, you’ll have your ideas stored right where you’ll be using them.

  Just start a draft post or page and call it ideas and jot them down in there.

  I have always created draft posts for that purpose too.

  I created a TUMBLR for that. If you add a decent “Post to Tumblr” extension to your browser, it’s very handy.

  I do that also as I have private Tumblr blogs too. ha! ha! ha!
