Nothing is working

  Domain renewal is not working, and now the ‘Contact Us’ form, which is the only way I can contact wordpress apparently, is repeatedly stating that it is encountering a problem to try again. This is getting very frustrating.

  The blog I need help with is NOT virgopia.wordpress.com.

  What is going on with wordpress?

  The website is jmgvines.wordpress.com.
  The domain name is jmgvines.com. Today is the day that I need to renew the domain, but WordPress won’t allow me to renew it. It instead is trying to force me to purchase a “plan” which I do not want. So is this it? Is wordpress kicking me off of the “free website with a domain name” because I refuse to purchase a “plan”? How do I renew my domain? There is no option under Manage purchases or Domain.

  I changed my “primary” blog to the one for which I am trying to renew the domain. jmgvines.wordpress.com is now my primary blog. I see that the “renew” date is February 17, which was my mistake. I came and checked on the domain and I thought it stated that it would renew by January 18, so my anxiety may have been a bit premature. I recently lost a domain for not keeping track of the date, so I’m trying to prevent that from happening with jmgvines.

  I’m guessing that I don’t need to worry about the domain until February 17.

  Hi Jerry –

  In order to renew jmgvines.com you are going to need to sign in to your other user account. This domain can only be renewed from the original account.

  To help you locate those credentials I have sent an email to the email address you’ll need to sign in with. Then, navigate to Manage Purchases and find the renewal option.

  Auto renew is enabled for this purchase and should go through fine if the card on file is still valid.
