Nothing shows up when reading private blog

    I have started a private blog of which I have added another wordpress member to take a look. When she logs in, she sees only an Oops page where there is nothing to be found.

    I know that I have that post and I can see it when I log in as myself. So what did I miss in this issue?

    Did you change the title of that page after you published it? That’ll change teh permalink unless you’re very careful, and so she’ll get an error message when she looks for it.

    To double check: she reports seeing nothing but an error page where the blog is supposed to be? And you can see things just as they’re supposed to be?

    If this is a new blog and you have deleted the Welcome post and have failed to publish posts, but have published Pages instead this could explain what your user is seeing. If that’s the case then the first link below will contain the solution and the second one will make the differences between Pages and Posts clear to you.
