nothing works

I logged in to the dashboard on my site, and it says plug-ins need to be upgraded. Yet, when I click on plug-ins, I get a blank screen. Same thing when I click on posts… This is of course, a bad thing. Any tips on de-activating plugins manually instead of through dashboard? I’m pretty sure this is a plug-in conflict.
