  I have received a mail with an unidentified user registration request in WordPress

  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there – Your site isn’t hosted here, so we’re not able to provide direct support, but the symptom sounds similar to the “Membership – Anyone can register” feature within WordPress Settings > General.
