notification

  hi

  a friend told me that she checked to receive notification when people comment on posts on my blog after she posts a comment. however, she said she never receives any notification even though she can see there are more comments on that particular post. does anyone have the same problem? if so, how do you resolve this? thanks!

  Hi. You two should verify the Discussion settings, under “E-mail me whenever” and “Before a comment appears”:

  Thanks for your reply. I checked my setting and the default was both “E-mail me whenever” and “Before a comment appears” are allowed.

  As for my friend, she is not registered with WordPress.com. She just comments. Where can she change the setting?

  She needs to subscribe to the comments on the threads in which she comments. THere is a button down by the comment box for her to tick off.
