notification before "no ads upgrade" expiration date?

    Does anyone know if WordPress lets subscribers know before upgrades such as the “no ads upgrade” are about to expire?
    I see that support is away till April 11 so I am posting this question here

    Just wondering because I had this upgrade, but perhaps it expired because I don’t see it on my dashboard as something I have
    Where would I look? I see where to subscribe for it under “Upgrades.” Maybe that means I don’t have it any longer and should just go ahead and renew it?

    this occurred to em because of a wordpress reminder that appeared on my dashboard about renewing my domain name, which I went ahead and did

    Hi electricia1,

    Your no-ads subscription expired on December 12, 2010.

    You can simply re-add it by purchasing it again through the upgrades panel on your blog’s Dashboard.

    Thank you! I will renew it right now. Wish I had known this in December! On my “About” page I write: Please note this is an ad free blog.

    Now that I’ve renewed, my no-ad subscription is noted at bottom of Upgrades page, with the note: Expiring Will stop functioning on April 8, 2012.

    Anyway I’m grateful for the repeated heads-up at top of my dashboard when I signed in that domain name was expiring. I know several instances of people who forgot to renew their domains and the mess that followed. Some are well known sites too.
