  Hi, I am still not able to get my notifications button to illuminate. Also, a past like does not show up on my list. I have also tried logging on to other computers where the cache would not be a problem. Still no luck. Anymore suggestions? Thanks

  Can you show me what you mean by illuminate? Did it do it before and it stopped? If you can take a screenshot and upload it to your Media Library that’d be very helpful.

  Also, a past like does not show up on my list.

  This is actually very common. A reader may have accidentally liked a post and unliked it. So what would happen is that you received an email notification about a like, but then when you view the post/page, the like would no longer be there.

  Hi There, Typically, when someone likes a post or leaves a comment on my site, the notification button turns from blue to orange (it illuminates). I made one post on 10/6 (Beloved, my Friend) and another on 10/12 (I Am…in You). A blogger liked Beloved. The notification button remained blue and never turned orange. The only reason I know the like is there is because I edited the post and viewed its appearance after the edit. I can see the blogger's gravitar at the bottom of the post beside the laguage that says, “1 blogger liked this post”. However, that like is not in my notifications list and the button never turned from blue to orange to let me know there was a new like.

  Additionally, another blogger liked I Am. Although that like is on my notifications list, the button did not turn from blue to orange to let me know there was something new on the list. I only know about the like because I opened the notifications list. The notifications button did not illuminate to prompt me to do so.

  A screen shot will not be helpful to you. You will not be able to see a notifications button illuminated because it doesn't seem to function as designed. Thanks,

  Also I just tested out likes, and found that they were showing up. However, as for the notifications, let me know where you mean.
